Even MORE Pictures From The Dallas Arboretum; Part Duex

FILE0003When we went down there it was already around 90 degrees outside; this is only May.

The Dallas Arboretum grounds looked outstanding[...] there were so many flowers and trees and just a bunch of special areas. It was the perfect opportunity to catch some nature pictures. It was funny- the squirrels must be just so happy in there… They were everywhere and they were having a ball… Even with people, they seemed very comfortable getting close.

We walked around for about 2 hours, but as the day went on, the heat was really starting to set in, so I think we cut it a bit short…

These pictures were taken with my little black camera; my little AIPTEK 8mp / 720p HD video camera. It’s not a high end camera, it’s so simple. One button picture, one button video – easy. I was surprised at the quality of some of these shots. There were a few that didn’t make it, but here’s the ones that did make it.

Enjoy!

Sunday at the Dallas Arboretum

Today we went to the Dallas Arboretum with Aunt Linda, Aunt Shirley and Grandma. It was a very warm day, but the flowers were beautiful. There is so much to see that we will have to make another trip this fall….Grandma loved the flowers!  Afterwards we went passed the Kennedy Memorial and then headed back for lunch.IMG_0190 IMG_0191

We had a old friend drop by last week; Kim was here on Wednesday. She was here on business, but managed to get some free time and drop by our house.

Beck found a patio set for an incredible $40. It’s a large table, with the tiles you can replace, 6 chairs; two of them are rocker/swivel chairs. it came with an umbrella and stand, but we didn’t need it.

And there’s more…
