Spring is cranking up- it’s getting hot!

Wow, how time flies… Last week we got some red mulch for the flower beds and tried to make few things look a little better. We got some tomatoes, bell peppers, Jalapeños and some herbs. We had a old friend drop by last week; Kim was here on Wednesday. She was here on business, but managed to get some free time and drop by our house.

Beck found a patio set for an incredible $40. It’s a large table, with the tiles you can replace, 6 chairs; two of them are rocker/swivel chairs. it came with an umbrella and stand, but we didn’t need it.

And there’s more…

We also picked up some sun blinds for the back porch. The sun is starting to get warm and being able to block some of that out is nice.
