Sorry we haven’t updated the website in a few weeks, it’s been pretty crazy around here! Hopefully things will calm down in the next couple of weeks. Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy!

I don’t really know what to say about this one. It’s completely embarrassing, and as it would seem, funny too.
We’ve a manual chopper we love, but you’ve to turn it by hand [manually]…
My thought was wouldn’t it be cool if you could hook up my drill to it…So, you take a plain-Jane food chopper, apply a ½” deep well socket, ½” socket adapter for a 18v drill and you record it with your video camera… You get this.
Every time Beck watches this she shakes her head and laughs. I don’t know if it’s because she thinks I’m being cute, that it actually works or if she’s just completely embarrassed by me.
Either way, this is for you guys… Sorry and enjoy!

Ethan’s school and teachers are wonderful! On the first day, they really made him feel so welcome. His teachers are Ms. Dawn & Ms. Cindy. It is so cute seeing him sitting at the table with all the other kids. Tuesday he got to pick where he wanted to sit, and where does he choose??? The table with all the girls! I asked him if he wanted to sit at the other table, he replied “No, these girls are pretty”! A ladies man already!
Today I received this email from his teacher’s….I was so proud I thought I would share with everyone……
We are so happy that Ethan has made such a wonderful adjustment to school. We realize how worried you must have been after his kindergarten experience. He is a sweet, polite young boy and a hard worker. We have prayed that things would go smoothly for him, and God has answered our prayers!
I would like to share some funny moments with you. On the very first day of school Ethan was telling us, "I don’t like it when my sister, Brittany, wants to kiss me all the time – yuck!" The amusing part is that when he saw Brittany at pick up time, he jumped up and yelled, "that’s my Brittany!"
During that first day, another student tapped Ethan on the nose during playtime by accident. We had the other student apologize and I asked Ethan if he was OK. he told me, "No, not really….I can’t sniff anymore."
Later on during playtime he came up to me, with big, wide-open eyes and asked, "How’s my eye look?" I told him that it looked just fine. His response: "Is it, like, falling out or anything?" He is a funny kid without even trying to be!
We look forward to a wonderful year with Ethan and we are so glad that he seems to really be enjoying class.

WAY TO GO ETHAN!!!

We worked on the up stairs area this weekend. Cleaned up,painted and changed some light fixtures. It’s a light tan color with white trim…
Beck has become really good at trim work… she doesn’t tape off the areas anymore… Mike taught her well.
We still have the faucet to change in the up stairs bathroom to do,but it’s coming along…
We also stained the back porch door… it looks much better.
We have really been working on getting these rooms remodeled. We finished the kitchen floor and back splash. The bathrooms are done and I have touched up the paint on the walls and ceilings downstairs. This weekend we are going to start on painting the theater room. We both will be glad when this is over! Here are a few pictures of the update!
