A day at point park in Chattanooga… [Pictures]

We were spending few days in Chattanooga, and we decided to go to Lookout Mountain and visit Point Park.

It was a great day. It wasn’t hot or cold; it was just nice. It was such a clear day… you could see for miles. It’s been nice spending time with family…

This is from our friends daughters birthday party. Maddi was turning one… When we got there it wasn’t that bad, but it was getting warmer; It was close to 100 deg by the time the party was over. Luckily we had some covering and a good breeze.

Here’s some pictures of the other kids… they were having a great time shooting the water pistols… Shooting their parents.

Even MORE Pictures From The Dallas Arboretum; Part Duex

When we went down there it was already around 90 degrees outside; this is only May.

The Dallas Arboretum grounds looked outstanding[...] there were so many flowers and trees and just a bunch of special areas. It was the perfect opportunity to catch some nature pictures. It was funny- the squirrels must be just so happy in there… They were everywhere and they were having a ball… Even with people, they seemed very comfortable getting close.

We walked around for about 2 hours, but as the day went on, the heat was really starting to set in, so I think we cut it a bit short…

These pictures were taken with my little black camera; my little AIPTEK 8mp / 720p HD video camera. It’s not a high end camera, it’s so simple. One button picture, one button video – easy. I was surprised at the quality of some of these shots. There were a few that didn’t make it, but here’s the ones that did make it.

Spring is cranking up- it’s getting hot!

Wow, how time flies… Last week we got some red mulch for the flower beds and tried to make few things look a little better. We got some tomatoes, bell peppers, Jalapeños and some herbs. We had a old friend drop by last week; Kim was here on Wednesday. She was here on business, but managed to get some free time and drop by our house.

Beck found a patio set for an incredible $40. It’s a large table, with the tiles you can replace, 6 chairs; two of them are rocker/swivel chairs. it came with an umbrella and stand, but we didn’t need it.

And there’s more…

We also picked up some sun blinds for the back porch. The sun is starting to get warm and being able to block some of that out is nice.

I grabbed a few quick shots of Ethan while he ran around the back yard.
