Ethan’s Teacher’s Comments!!! He’s getting big!

Ethan’s school and teachers are wonderful! On the first day, they really made him feel so welcome. His teachers are Ms. Dawn & Ms. Cindy. It is so cute seeing him sitting at the table with all the other kids. Tuesday he got to pick where he wanted to sit, and where does he choose??? The table with all the girls! I asked him if he wanted to sit at the other table, he replied “No, these girls are pretty”! A ladies man already!

Today I received this email from his teacher’s….I was so proud I thought I would share with everyone……

We are so happy that Ethan has made such a wonderful adjustment to school.  We realize how worried you must have been after his kindergarten experience.  He is a sweet, polite young boy and a hard worker.  We have prayed that things would go smoothly for him, and God has answered our prayers!

I would like to share some funny moments with you.  On the very first day of school Ethan was telling us, "I don’t like it when my sister, Brittany, wants to kiss me all the time – yuck!"  The amusing part is that when he saw Brittany at pick up time, he jumped up and yelled, "that’s my Brittany!"

During that first day, another student tapped Ethan on the nose during playtime by accident.  We had the other student apologize and I asked Ethan if he was OK.  he told me, "No, not really….I can’t sniff anymore."

Later on during playtime he came up to me, with big, wide-open eyes and asked, "How’s my eye look?"  I told him that it looked just fine.  His response:  "Is it, like, falling out or anything?"  He is a funny kid without even trying to be!

We look forward to a wonderful year with Ethan and we are so glad that he seems to really be enjoying class.

In His Hands,

Ms. Cindy & Ms. Dawn

WAY TO GO ETHAN!!!

Ethan is awesome

Ethan’s doing a great job at the dentist office . That surprises me how well he goes under these conditions. You would think that he would be nervous about going to the dentist office , but he does spectacularly.

thanks goes to becky, for taking the picture.

Movies and Underwater Camera Fun

Inception, movieWe went to go see a movie this weekend; INCEPTION – awesome movie… Nope — no details. You’ve to watch this one to really get the effect…

I’m not going to give anything away with the movie, but the degree of suspense that this movie generates is impressive. There’s nothing in this movie they could’ve omitted and still had the same effect. I think they could’ve increased the story line 30 minutes and still kept me on the edge of my seat.

Ethan’s been doing great at the pool; learning to swim [mostly underwater] and it was like over 100+ this weekend, so it’s time for the pool side..

Thanks to Ivan and Linda for being so nice too us on that… Great neighbors!

Becca found a great deal on an underwater digital camera [CraigsList or something] and I fired it up, made sure it was okay and we put that thing to work… Having fun!

Catching Some Pool Time When We Can

DSC00256We have our fun spots here and there… We’ve been holding out on a few things here and there, but I’ve a few little pictures to share.

I had this picture from breakfast one morning with Ethan; went to IHOP – I love that place…

But it’s okay I love breakfast and so it’s a foregone conclusion I would love a place that serves breakfast… So there.

This was a good shot I thought…

Some More Pictures From The Birthday Party

This is from our friends daughters birthday party. Maddi was turning one… When we got there it wasn’t that bad, but it was getting warmer; It was close to 100 deg by the time the party was over. Luckily we had some covering and a good breeze.
